Contemporary capitalism is built on a global division of labour and global supply chains. Imperialist wars are fought over increasingly scarce resources, and imperialist capital devastates the earth to extract resources which feed a global system of exploitation. How can we understand the links between climate change and imperialism? How can such an understanding help us to build the vital links between the different aspects of the crises ahead of us and build the alliances necessary to avert climate disaster and achieve climate justice?
