Revolutionaries in non-revolutionary times

18 March at 7:00 pm9:00 pm

How should revolutionaries work in non-revolutionary circumstances?

History is punctuated by revolutions, when the mass of the population take the stage of history and shape its course. But most of the time, in most places, that isn’t our experience.

We don’t want to just “wait for the revolution”. Smaller struggles happening now shape the ideas and organisation of the working class. British politics is currently dominated by Brexit and Corbynism, while the numbers involved in open resistance in our workplaces and communities are low.

How are the concepts of the United Front and Popular Front relevant today? How do we make our movements both broad and militant? How can we work effectively with people we strongly disagree with?

We are doing meetings differently. We won’t have a speaker at this meeting. If you’d like some suggestions for things to read beforehand, please drop us a message on Facebook.
