Launch: The new far right, and how to fight it

3 April at 8:00 pm10:00 pm

Join rs21 for a panel event to launch our brand new pamphlet on the far right!

Titled ‘The new far right, and how to fight it’, the new pamphlet features 10 thought-provoking pieces from 10 authors, several of whom will be at the launch to discuss their contributions.

Together, they cover a rich variety of topics: from the online alt-right to the diversity of anti-fascist street tactics; from feminist anti-fascism to the role of Zionism and Islamophobic ideology in the modern far-right worldview. Our aim is to provide an indispensable guide to anyone wondering where the current fascist threat has come from, and what we can do to defeat it.

SPEAKERS:

Hanna Gál, an organiser with rs21 and the Feminist Anti-Fascist Assembly, will discuss her article on the role of feminist anti-fascism and the need for inclusive models of anti-fascist organising.

Max Leak, the pamphlet’s overall editor, will give opening remarks on the changing nature of the struggle between the far right and its enemies, in Britain and internationally.

More TBA.
